Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs & cats, whether it be my own or neighbors, since I was 11. I ran a “doggy daycare” in middle school and went on to volunteer in a selter throughout high school & some of college. In my free time I foster kittens and have helped Greyhounds who were used for racing acclimate to a family home setting. Because of my past experience, I have the perfect amount of patience, empathy, and excitement when working & playing with animals. I am also young with a lot of energy, which translates well with rambunctious pets who love to play!

My experience with Claire has been absolutely amazing. She has taken great care of Watson and made sure Watson had great fun meeting new dogs and cats and long evening walks. She is a perfect sitter for first timers. If this is anyone’s first time leaving their pet behind Claire is the perfect option for you! Great work Claire!! Keep it up!!
Claire was great! She was flexible. Sent plenty of pictures and updates. She took Minnie out for walks and exercise and even let her hang out on her furniture. I could tell that Claire really cared about Minnie. I highly recommend her and will definitely be asking her to watch Minnie again in the future.
Claire was great when she watched my izzy girl. I can always trust she’s getting all the love & attention she would when I’m there! Claire even sent me pictures of Izzy throughout the day. Highly recommend!

I have an unfenced yard, but am located near the down town dog park! I am also a retired track runner, so I love to go on runs & walks - especially before it gets cold out. I do not have any pets living with me & although I live in an apartment with one other roommate, my animal loving sorority sisters and I occupy an entire building of 6 different apartments, so your pet will never have a problem with getting any attention.

A typical day
We’ll go on all sorts of walks through campus & at the multiple different parks we have here. I also frequent the dog park down town.

Availability
I am currently working part time from home, which allows a lot of play time for me and your pet! Typically, I am away from home for an hour to go to the gym or go to the grocery store. Although, with COVID, I do not have any required involvement making me leave my apartment!
