Having only had pets in the past and currently. Not having been a dog walker or caregiver before. I can tell you that I feel animals deserve the same level of care as a person. I can tell you that I would care for the animal just as I would my own daughter. Weather it would be a walk or a check in visit. From having pets I know that you need to be patient and gentle with them. Let them come to you (if they are unsure). I currently have a cat ( we got her as a kitten, while we still had my dog). Its funny how they can become a good pair or how a kitten can put a dog in place
