Hi, I'm CJ (he/him)! I'm known for being a reliable, responsible, and caring animal-lover, up for any challenge. With my years of experience with cats, dogs and more, and many happy Rover clients in the Bay Area, Eastern & Western Massachusetts, Chicagoland, Maine and beyond, I feel confident in my ability to properly care for your pet while communicating with you along the way. I have a car of my own, so I will have reliable transportation to and from taking care of furry friends. I'm excited to continue offering my services through Rover to meet even more lovely new pets and clients in the area. I've accumulated years of experience with all sizes and ages of dogs, including pets with special needs including medication or physical mobility help. I am comfortable and confident administering medications as directed. I love to play with energetic puppies or chill out with calmer cats and dogs - whatever type of care your pet needs, I will be happy to rise to the occasion.

CJ is amazing! He stayed at our house with Keane and did a FANTASTIC job! We not only got daily updates which allowed us to feel comfortable that Keane was being taken care of very well. We will definitely want to book CJ in the future.
CJ was wonderful with our shy anxious pup while we were out of town for 5 days! He has a very calm relaxed energy and Churro warmed up very quickly, and we got photos and updates throughout the trip so we felt assured that things were going smoothly. We will definitely call on CJ again in the future!
CJ stayed at our home for a week and a half and took the most fabulous care of our home and our 2 dogs. He sent photos of our fur babies every day, handled power outages like a pro, and was amazing all around. We are looking forward to our next opportunity to hire him!

I take special care to respect the homes into which I'm invited by following all house rules closely, updating clients if anything unusual comes up, and leaving homes spotless when my stay has ended. I enjoy hanging with all dog personalities, types, and breeds. It would be helpful to know your pet's general energy level, how well they adjust to being around new people, and their favorite treats and toys.
A typical day
I am up for anything your dog is! Some of my favorite pup-friendly activities are taking long walks/hiking, playing fetch, and playing tug-of-war in the yard. For your feline companions, I'm happy to provide a calm, friendly environment to help cats acclimate as smoothly as possible to my presence. I enjoy playing with and tiring out more energetic cats, or just hanging out and being present with calmer cats.

Availability
I currently work remotely, and will be able to spend all day hanging with your pet! Whether your furry companion needs frequent potty breaks, attention and cuddles, or extra attention to medications etc., I am lucky enough to be able to be around all day to help out.
