Experience with multiple dog breeds, senior dogs, medical administration (including injection). My main concern when I look after a pet is to try and keep as much as possible their normal routine so they don't miss their owners so much. I had my first much wanted dog when I was 15 years old. She was the most loving (and excited) poodle I've ever seen. When she was about 8 years old we found out she had diabetes so I had to administer an injection with insulin for the following 4 years of her life, until she died. I am proud that although she was an illness we managed to provide a happy life with nice walks, great care and infinite cuddles. When I got married I missed having a pet around and decided to adopt a cat. My mother in law is a cat rescuer and gave us Pipoca when she was only one month old. She was rescued from an abandoned house with two siblings that didn't survive. Quite traumatized by her first month of life, she has some movement impediment for life, but it doesn't keep her from going for nice walks in the neighborhood and playing with her toys (when she is in the mood). Nowadays she is 7 years old but still fit and very healthy. She loves her cuddles but could bite if caught by surprise or if disturbed too much. I also have experience of looking after my sister's bull terrier and have also taken care of lovely friend's dogs: chihuahua and yorkshire.
