I am a caretaker by nature and love animals, especially dogs! Growing up my family had a cockapoo who lived to be 18, so I have years of experience with a medium-sized dog. My husband and I have had a female rottweiler we got as a puppy, a male rottweiler we rescued as a 2-year-old, and we currently have a 4-year-old Bernese mountain dog adding an additional 19 years experience with large breed dogs. Since my husband and I have always had dogs weighing roughly 100 pounds, we do not allow our dogs on furniture and this rule will apply to visiting dogs as well. While we do not have young children, we do have two teenagers who also adore animals. Our entire family has taken part in training classes with our dog(s) and are loving, patient caregivers. My husband has a non-traditional work schedule, so there are many days that he's home when I'm working or vice versa. Our family and our pooch would love to enjoy the company of your furry family members!
