I have had dogs and cats all my life; they are not just pets - they are family. My husband and I have been married 27 years and have three children away in college. We have lived in Corpus Christi for 22 years. Twelve years ago I began rescuing stray dogs in our community. In 2009 I began volunteering at the Gulf Coast Humane Society and shortly after joined their board of directors. I have served as board President for the last five years. I have been pet/house sitting for five years locally and one year internationally as well. I currently have two dogs and two cats of my own. I work part-time from home which allows me a very flexible schedule. I love taking care of animals and making sure they are well cared for and have lots of love!
