Pet care experience
I enjoy taking care of all types of animals and own three cats and two dogs. Having a knack for connecting with challenging animals, I tamed a feral neighborhood cat and made him my pet for the rest of his life. Four years ago my family got our first dog, a plott hound, and this year we also got a mostly Husky puppy. I've cared for cats, dogs, reptiles, birds (we had an African Grey when I was growing up), and even goats and chickens!

Cindy is an exceptional caregiver for my older dog. She tuned right into his likes and dislikes, and is always through with her check ins. I can rest easy when I know she's checking on him while I'm working... so very pleased with her services!

While Cindy was an undergraduate student at the college where I teach, my spouse and I went on a two-week trip from Virginia to Florida, while Cindy stayed at our house to look after our dogs, cats, goats, and chickens. Having her here was the next-best thing to being home ourselves, as our pets were very fond of her, and she was conscientious and thorough. We would hire her to do that again without hesitation, and she would be our first choice.

Before I watch your pet for the first time I would like to meet with you and go over any special instructions you might have and do a short meet and greet with your pet.
A typical day
My goal is to mirror your pet's typical day ensuring lots of playtime and mental stimulation. Daily walks, playing fetch, doing a treat hunt, and chilling in a sunbeam are part of any day I watch your pet. One special thing I do with my active breed dogs is use a bike leash. My plott hound loves to run!

I am available for walks and playtimes in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. Rover is my fun side hustle. I have cared for pets with diabetes and administered pills and insulin shots to cats and dogs. My mission is to provide the best care for your pets so that you can have peace of mind while traveling.
