Adventurous Animal Lover

Pet care experience

I absolutely adore dogs. I enjoy working with them and even more so, exercising with them. They are a great motivator to be active. Mya is a 3 year old Pit/Boxer mix. Rescued from a California kill shelter. About 35 pounds and won't get much bigger. She loves to meet new friends!! We have spent countless hours working on good manners and positive behavior. She is such a smart little pup. Mya knows a number of awesome tricks: Out of the kitchen, wait to cross the street, off leash walking during our hikes, waits for an "O.K." to eat, doesn't charge out of the front door. And so many more, the list is growing. We can do all sorts of walks. Slow strolls to high cardio exercises. We can do anything from mild to difficult trails around the area as well, depending on the pet parents request. Along with this, I will train. If you have something you have been trying with difficulties to teach your pup, I will do my best. I have been training dogs since I was little and have learned to become decently proficient. All dogs are different, which is why I take the time to research my clients in order to ensure I have a basic understanding of their ancestral personality traits. I am very time flexible and reliable. Depending on the owners request, I can do as many check-ins as needed. We can even track our walks using my phone. ***experience with*** Behavioral Modification Training Able to notice Signs and symptoms (will contact immediately) All ages, all sizes Oral medications If you have any questions feel free to ask. Transparency is important to me.

Cindy did a great job of taking care of my two spaniels for 9 days and nights. They were happy to see her again after our meet and greet and were in great shape when I came to pick them up. One of my dogs has a bad knee. Cindy was very watchful for any limping and adjusted their exercise accordingly. She kept in touch via text and sent pictures of their activities. I look forward to having her take of my girls again.

Cindy is lively and kind and very good with dogs. Our dog is loving but can be a little crazy and she took him on happily. It rained a lot while he was with her, which can sometimes drive us crazy because he needs a lot of exercise and won't go out in the rain. But she got him out and walking and when we picked him up he seemed tired and happy. Cindy ran out to say goodbye to him/us as we were leaving and our dog licked her face and wagged his tail. Who knows how dogs process these things but he seemed to be pretty pleased to see her one last time. Cindy also accommodated our schedule even though it was last minute and was very flexible and reliable. Definitely go with her if you are looking for a great dog sitter! oh she also has some dog training experience!

I live in a very large flat with plenty of room for the dogs to run around. We have a courtyard outback and all the dogs who live here are friends and very friendly. I would need leashes to take them potty as it's state law. We can crate if needed or required by owner. I have one crate that will fit 20 pounds or less. I have a patio that dogs have full access to during the day.

Information Cindy P. would like to know about your pet

Is you pet baby friendly? I have a 7 month old. I keep a solid eye on him especially when dogs are over. How does your pet do when you're away? Are they friendly around small animals and other dogs? Puppies? Medications? Schedule? Do's and Don'ts? Normal exercise routine?

A typical day

Where do you want us to go? I'm down for an adventure! Mostly we will be working on mental challenges but I would like to get at least 2 walks a day unless the dog has special needs and can't do certain things.
