Cindy is amazing with dogs! She has a golden retriever named Burke and loves taking him for hikes and adventures! Burke is a very friendly and fun dog who loves to play! Cindy would be a great choice for a dog sitter and Burke would love a new buddy to play with!
We've known Cindy for over 20 years. Cindy has always had dogs in her life, and she has looked after a few of our dogs, always with great care and consideration for any of their needs and peculiarities! I would highly recommend Cindy as a dog sitter or walker.

I have a spacious fenced yard and a park nearby. I have ample space in my house to add another dog for daytime or overnight care. It’s a very safe and family friendly neighborhood. I have a mellow retriever for your dog to play with and keep your dog company! I am interested in mature mellow dogs as they would be a good fit in our house.

I’m great with most breeds as long as they are friendly and get along with my dog. Aggressive or territorial dogs wouldn’t work well with our family. A mature, laid back mellow breed would work best!
A typical day
I look forward to a morning walk around the block when your dog first wakes up . Followed by a visit to the local park for some good sniffs and grassy areas to explore ( on leash). When we get home my dog and yours can play some fetch in my fenced backyard and enjoy some water play as well if it’s hot. For some downtime your dog is welcome to relax on our dog beds or on our couches- wherever they are most comfortable. Other outings may include a walk at sunset beach, a hike up The Grind, 6th Street or a nice walk in Pretty River Valley depending on your pet and what they like. Overnight pets have the option of sleeping upstairs with us or on our couch. We are very used to dogs and their day will be lots of fun!!

Availability
I am free on weekends in the Spring to look after your dog. During the week I teach primary children in a school setting. In the summer months I am free weekly for dog walks, overnights etc
