Pet care experience
We had a wonderful dog that I walked rain or shine almost every day of his 14 1/2 years. I miss that and thought this would be a great way to get my dog & cat fix and exercise at the same time! We also had a cat for 18 1/2 years and although I don’t miss when she would sleep on my head (lol), I do miss the cuddles! When walking, I can set my pace to match that of your dog and would love to be given the chance to connect with your fur baby!

Cindy is the best. My pup Rosie had a fantastic time from playing in her fenced yard, which we do not have, to the all the great walks and of course the snuggle. She is my #1 go to and should be yours too!!
Cindy was absolutely awesome! Constant check ins and pictures of our pup, which we appreciated! Would love to have her watch our Olive again.
Cindy is the best! She did such a wonderful job taking care of our dog. It was the first time our dog has stayed with a pet sitter, and Cindy kept us updated with photos and texts throughout our entire trip. We will definitely be contacting Cindy again!
Cindy is a great sitter option especially if you’re in the Maple Valley area! She was great with her communication, prompt and timely when arriving for the sitting appointments and went above and beyond giving my long haired thick coated husky mix a good brushing! I definitely recommend Cindy :)

I have a securely fenced in backyard and live in a pretty quiet neighborhood. Our sliding door is right by the family room so they have easy access to use the yard if they'd like. When I am walking I am very diligent about making sure that my dogs and those around me are safe by paying attention to my surroundings at all times. I believe in positive reinforcement and have used that when training my former dogs. I think, above anything else, that pets are a part of our family and when you take a dog or cat into your home you need to take that responsibility seriously. That includes taking them for walks (even if you may not feel up to it or is raining), giving them enrichment activities and overall just being a part of your daily life activities & family. Lap dogs are a plus (ours was a 55 lb one!)

If on a walk, are they reactive to other dogs or people? Do they have any quirks I need to know about? Is there anything special that I should know about them in general? I'd ask that you do not book me if you have a dog that has accidents in the house (we have carpeted floors).
A typical day
Since I work part-time from home any hours that I want, no day is typical! I can schedule my day around the pet I am sitting. I love walking on our local pipeline & the dogs do too (lots of great smells)! Is your dog a ball lover? I’m happy to throw the ball for them! I'm up for pretty much anything (although I'm not a long-distance runner lol)!

I work for our local school district part-time & am fortunate enough to WORK FROM HOME so I have an extremely flexible schedule! My kids are grown and out of the house so I really am available almost any time of the day to interact with your pet.
