Pet care experience
We are a family of animal lovers (both domesticated & wild)! We have had dogs & cats our whole lives (plus many other smaller critters), Cindy worked as a vet assistant for 5+ years at a local animal hospital, currently works with wildlife and understands the care, commitment & responsibility involved when taking care of animals. We make sure to pay attention to the specific needs of each of our guests and give them lots of affection throughout the day. Although we have two young kids and a senior dog, our house has enough room for our furry friends to explore freely & to feel like they have their own space. :)

Cindy and Joseph provided outstanding care of Nova that really exceeded our expectation. They asked many detailed questions about her care before and during Nova’s stay in their house and took such great care of Nova, including providing medications for Nova. This was Nova first long stay and she had so many adventures as Cindy and Joseph exposed her to new dog friends and new places such as the dog park and the beach, etc. We really loved getting photos and updates throughout her stay, particularly gorgeous photos of Nova with Cindy’s children. Nova had fun and amazing time with them and she had a better vacation than we were : ) We will definitely use their services again! Many thanks again Cindy and Joseph!
We were so grateful for Cindy and Joseph for taking such great care of Joni! Our pup always has a blast when hanging out with their family and we really appreciate how accommodating and communicative they are with us!

We have had pets our whole lives and our children are at the age where they understand and welcome the responsbilities of having a pet. They enjoy helping with our daily routine from walking/feeding/playing/brushing. Since our whole family would be taking care of your beloved pets, we do require our furry guests be good/comfortable around kids. With this said, we have an entire separate area where your pets can have their own cozy space away from our dog/children too if they need or prefer. :)

We would need to know the temperament, their daily routine, eating habits, any triggers (loud noises, squirrels, feeding time etc) any special diets, specific requirements (mobility challenges, sleeping arrangements, etc). We would also need to know how well they interact with other humans & dogs (young & old).
A typical day
Yes we have several places we love to go for long walks, moderate hikes, beach fun etc. We are very familiar with the city and sincerely enjoy exploring the outdoors as a family. Availability
We are an active family with lots on the go, however because our kids are both at school during the week, it allows us to have plenty of time to dote on our guests! We also work from home 5/7 days so your family members will rarely be left alone for long periods. We have a sweet senior dog who is still pretty active for her age so we are always out for walks or adventures (ranging from 20 minutes - 120 minutes) but we also have a fully fenced in yard for dogs that prefer lower activity level or have challenges with mobility. :) Our home has stairs & different levels, however because our other dog had trouble with her mobility & vision (before she passed), we have arranged our home so that it is easily accessible for animals who have a hard time going up & down stairs, navigating multiple turns etc!
