I grew up loving all kinds of dogs, at the age of 5 I was gifted and golden lab pup for my 5th birthday and he was my best buddy, from the moment that I saw that puppy I instantly fell in love with it and carried on a passion for dogs for the rest of my life. I grew up in Colombia so it’s very common to see stray dogs in the streets, so I would always go to the park to feed them and play with them and one day a dog followed me all the way home but sadly my parents didn’t let me keep him :( sadly my golden lab didn’t make it past his 7 years due to his battle with cancer. Fast forward a few years, I had moved to the US and adopted my grandma’s 8 year old senior Maltese, she had respiratory problems so I was taught how to give her oral medication and it was definitely not easy especially since she was a picky eater, but I eventually figured out that she’ll eat anything that had peanut butter for dogs in it; unfortunately she passed away from a heart stroke in July of 2020 and it was very sad not having her around especially while we were in quarantine, but seeing the emptiness that we felt around the house with no dog around to brighten our days up, we came to the agreement that we would get a puppy for my birthday. Having to learn how to train a puppy was very difficult and took a lot of patience but it all paid off because she is a well trained girl, she is crate trained, potty trained, she knows tricks and basic commands, she knows to not run out the door when it’s opened, and she knows how to behave when she is home alone. I usually bathe her at home and take her on walks and runs along with her dog “cousins”. Anything you need, I’ll be available for it :)
