My 17 year old Australian cattle dog passed a few months ago. I rescued her from a shelter in 2001. She shined and was brilliant. Caring for her in her senior years was an honor as she was a constant for me. My place of employment is dog friendly and I care for my employers 3 dogs, 2 of them being in the special needs category. I have endless patience and understanding! I never boarded my own dog as she traveled with me when I travelled , but if I had to of left her at any time, I would have wanted someone I could trust completely. My previous doggie before that was also a rescue corgi mix with epelipsy, I administered phenobarbital every day for her to stop seizures, so I'm familiar with special need animals! I will follow and respect all pet owners instructions when it comes to their pets and treat them as if they were my own.
