Love, care, responsible &dedicated

Pet care experience

I have 20 years taking care of all kinds of pets ,dogs ,cats ,fish &,birds and reptiles. I know your pets are your babies and its hard to leave them but with my care they will be happy and very well cared for. I have done daily walks, doggie day care stays overnight at my house or yours. I have a 4 yr old golden that is very caring and playful, never met a dog he has not loved. I have a safety plan in place A SAFETY PLAN: Be careful in allowing the cat or dog out after a major emergency. Follow the recommendations of any emergency management personnel as to whether the environment is safe for the pet. Let the pet have plenty of uninterrupted sleep. If you still have the pet’s favorite toys, encourage them to play. This will allow them to recover from stress and trauma. Avoid unfamiliar activities with your pet, such as bathing, excessive exercise, or diet supplements. C. Try to avoid diet changes. D. Always make sure they are supervised E. The pet questionare filled out with the pets emergency contact numbers and vet just in case the worst thing that could happen. I have never had to call a vet or a pet owner. F. The pet will be in a secured loving home at all times Just like humans, dogs can suffer from anxiety. The most common form for canines is separation anxiety. However, dogs can also become anxious over stressful situations within a home, loud noises, sudden changes in the surroundings such as a move and the introduction to the home dog.. While there are prescription medications available to treat canine anxiety, it is less expensive and some say healthier to use natural remedies I can find within my home. Chamomile Tea • Chamomile is a herb that calms the nerves and often induces sleep in humans and dogs. Give the dog a few sips (or licks) of chamomile tea before a stressful event. You can also soak food or treats in the tea to ensure the dog will eat it and the tea will be absorbed.. Aromatherapy • Aromatherapy has been proven to help humans and it can be quite effective in aiding dogs with nervousness and anxiety issues. Stimulate the dog's sense of smell with soothing aromas such as lavender and vanilla. I use a tart warmer for these scents.. Oats • Oats have great nerve-calming qualities and are extremely healthy as well. Pure oatmeal can be cooked and added to the dog's normal food, dry or wet. Cook a cup of oatmeal and serve during the meal before an anxious event that might cause the dog to have an anxiety problem. Other Herbs • Several herbs have been found to be effective in calming anxiety. Herbs can be added to water, consumed whole orally or rubbed onto a dog's paw or behind the ear. A mixture of ginger root, chamomile, passion flower and valerian root has been show to relieve anxious tendencies. I do not use this style but it is proven to work. Triggers of anxiety in dogs are separation, thunderstorms, fireworks, car rides, strangers, unexpected loud noises, injury or other disruptions to a dog's life. One method of soothing and calming anxious dogs is the use of pressure or anxiety wraps. Wrapping is similar to swaddling an infant and uses a technique called "maintained pressure," Things You'll Need to wrap the dog & I have all of them as well as experience with dogs with anxiety. All dogs have a way to TRY TO ESCAPE I HAVE A FENCED YARD AND LOCK THE FRONT DOOR AS FOR WALKS THEY WILL ALWAYS BE ON A LEASH. I would also expect a meet and greet for you to feel comfortable with myself and Brady, as well as a care sheet that you fill out with all information of your dogs routines as feeding them, what times to feed as well a vet info and your contact info as well as any notes for your babies care. Following the schedule is one way to eliminate anxiety I have also found using a wrap to calm them as well as soothing tea works, you can moist a treat in it or let them take a few sips.. I look forward to ensuring your dog has the best experience. In introducing 2 dogs I do a meet and greet at a neutral ground setting so the dogs meet and we greet. I look for playing and tail wagging to ensure the 2 will get along. Another way is introducing at my house on leashes to see how they interact. I do watch closely the warning signs of growling, over powering an snipping. I choose to work for Rover because of their reputation as the top leading dog company around. The % of rating is 95 hard to beat that but my goal is to help them to go higher in customer rating. I enjoy pet sitting because I love pets. I enjoy the company and entertaining your baby. I want to leave with a bit of wanting to stay.

I cannot say enough good things about Cindy as a caring pet-sitter. We left her with our 2 dogs, but we were particularly hesitant about leaving our little Bichon Sarah, who is very timid since her rescue from a puppy mill 18 months ago, and we had never left her before. Learning of her history, Cindy could not have been more accommodating, allowing Sarah time to get used to the environment and her own dog Brady, who is so very gentle. Within 10 minutes after dropping Sarah off, we received a video of her playing happily with her new friend, and her "brother" Toby, and we continued to receive periodic videos throughout the day to assure us that she was doing just fine. We cannot thank Cindy enough for her consideration and care, and would not hesitate on recommending her to anyone. We hope to come back soon to play with our new friends! Celeste Bethlehem

Information Cindy B. would like to know about your pet

I love all breeds of dog big, medium or small. Brady is good with all pets in fact on our walks he wants to play with every dog we come across. To getting to know you and your dog I like to do a meet and greet with you to make sure you feel me to entrust with your baby. This can be done at your house, my house or on medium ground. I also require the pet form filled out so I know what I can do or need your pet to have a wonderful time while under the care of me.

A typical day

I walk a mile walk 3 times a day around the block as well we live by the power line trail and can do shorter walks if you would prefer. I have enormous amount of toys to play with them 30 minutes 3x a day. Allow dogs on my furniture and on my beds so they feel closer to me. After every walk a treat is given. Again any special instructions you feel out on my information sheet will be followed as you wish. I have a secured backyard and they can go outside to play or sun themselves with me watching over them at all times. I also live close to Horsham dog park and you upon your permission would love to take them there.
