Pet care experience
Thank you for your consideration, I currently have 3 pit mix rescues of my own and grew up surrounded with all types of animals such as birds, hamsters, turtles, and kittens. My private pet services business started to grow through word of mouth between friends and friends of friends about 9 years ago, and has been incredibly rewarding meeting different personalities in client's pets. I recently moved back from Texas where I gained experience in behavioral training through my job at an animal rescue group as Dog Care Manager. Working in rescue has taught me that no matter the age all dogs are trainable, some just require extra patience. I also have experience working as a canine coach in a daycare where we were also trained under a trainer who specialized in behavioral issues. Finally, I worked at veterinary hospital where I gained experience with both cats and dogs to ensure their medical safety and know what signs to look out for illness. I'm familiar with all breeds of dogs and cats and specialize in large breed dogs due to my dogs being large breed; however, I love them all. In my personal experience, I volunteered with a local rescue and focused on motherless litters and did puppy care/training. **I do charge the rates that I do only on Rover based on the 20% cut they take from each service rendered. **

Cindy is fantastic. She had patience and took the time to get to know my German Shepherd, Hudson, a dog who does not make a good first impression. It was the first time leaving him with someone who isn’t family so I was a bit nervous. She handled everything with ease. Administered his meds timely, walked, and played with Hudson. She sent me pictures of Hudson while I was away which I loved! She took great care of my home. When I got back the house was exactly how I left it. Cannot say enough good things about Cindy. 100% recommend her to care for any pet’s needs.
Cindy was an amazing house sitter. She watched my dog and two cats while I travelled out of the country and took great care of them. I don’t enjoy leaving my animals while I travel, but she made me feel super comfortable that they were being loved in my absence, including sending updates on their antics along with adorable pictures she captured throughout her time with them.
I really appreciated how flexible Cindy was when my plans kept changing. She was very responsive and understanding. She watched my shy pup in my home for two nights, and Cindy was patient getting her to warm up to her. I will definitely ask Cindy to watch my dog/house again in the future. Thank you Cindy!
Cindy was so wonderful and patient with my 3 kitties who are stressed and scared when I leave, especially with one of mine being diabetic and requiring insulin shots twice a day! Thank you so much! Will definitely trust her to care for my kitties again.

I understand how important it is for your pets to feel comfortable in their environment and how important it is for pet parents to feel at ease leaving their dogs in a safe environment. Based on my experience I can quickly spot any behavior changes in your pets and will promptly let you know. Sometimes cats won't eat or poop the first couple days you're away, I would keep you updated on when they finally start to relax. I'm very vigilant whether it's a walk, drop-in, or house sitting because I know how quickly behavior can change when mom and dad aren't around. Whether it be in my home or yours, know that your pet is in good hands.
Information Cindy A. would like to know about your pet
-I'm very comfortable with high energy and large breed dogs. -Are they good with other dogs/cats? -Are they taking medication? -Do they require special needs attention?
A typical day
- Walks or a nice jog through the park or neighborhood - If allowed, we can go to dog parks - If allowed, we can go to dog friendly stores/restaurants - With cats, if they have any toys or boxes they love to play with I'd love to interact and be able to mentally stimulate them to reduce anxiety.
