Pet care experience
Hello, I'm Cimone! I'm located in beautiful Northwest Austin and love taking care of dogs of all kinds (and am now accepting cat bookings as well!). Trustworthy, dependable, and patient are a few words that clients have used to describe me. I have experience with a large variety of dogs and temperaments, from anxious Labradors to energetic Maltese puppies. I've administered oral medication many times, and I have experience with blind and deaf dogs. I also have experience with cats and kittens, including the administration of medication via injection. When I'm not walking other people's pups, I'm probably hanging out with my own. I have a 5-year-old black lab mix and a 3-month-old kitten, both from Austin Pets Alive. They are total opposites but still find ways to love each other! One of my favorite things about being a dog-walker (besides the #1 obvious reason) is that it pushes me to exercise more and explore the local neighborhoods. I was born & raised in Austin, but there's always something new to see!

A typical day
I love getting to know pets on a recurring basis to get a feel for their level of activity, what motivates them, etc! With more athletic pups I try to get in 1-2 mile walks in a 30min-1hr time period. For the older or less active dogs, I let them be the leader in exploring trails or parks in the neighborhood.

I’m currently a student who does temp work on the side. The only day & time I’m not available for bookings is Thursday evening after 6pm!
