I've had a love for animals of all kinds since a young age, having cared for a dog, cat, hamster, turtle, lizard, frogs, rabbits, and a hissing cockroach over the years. I have volunteer experience at the San Diego Humane Society and currently have a lively senior dog and cat in my family. Volunteering at SDHS, I've worked with animals with a wide range of personalities, including those with behavioral issues. I love giving extra patience and affection toward the animals who need it the most. Giving and receiving attention from animals has the win-win potential to brighten both the pet's and person's day.
