Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs all of my life. Most of my experience is with medium to large dogs. though I have taken care of smaller dogs and cats for family and friends. My experience is from a lifetime of pet ownership and currently having my own rescue. I take pet responsibility very seriously, having waited for the appropriate time to get my own dog when I knew I would have the time and money to care for him.

Cicely did a great job of taking care of my dog while we went on a mini vacation. I was nervous because it was my dogs first time being left alone and although my dog wasn’t on her best behavior, Cicely did her best to comfort her. She sent us updates and pictures and I am happy to say, I had a great experience using Rover for the first time.
Send daily updates on my pup. I felt like my dog was in good hands with Cicely.
Cicely was great with Bella! She sent updates and was friendly and kind with all of our interactions! I’d definitely recommend her and use her again!!
Cicely has checked in on our cat while we were away on vacation. Even though she just needs to feed her and clean her box, she made sure and hang out for while with her everyday to make sure she had time with someone there and for some petting/cuddle time if she wanted it. Our cat is pretty particular and it takes a special person to get to be able to pet her!

I have a small apartment with easy access to 3 parks of varying size and activity to best fit your pet’s needs. I also have a small fenced patio. Pets boarding with me will be indoors most of the time with the exception of bathroom and walks/hikes. Pets are allowed on the furniture. I believe that routine is very important to reducing a pet’s stress while their owner is away and will do my best to accommodate their usual home routine. While my own dog and yours are welcome to have full access to the main living area, I am able to accommodate one crate if your pet is crate trained.

A typical day
On weekends I love to take the dogs on longer adventures if they are able, over to the foothills or the Bosque. I believe that getting out into nature is great enrichment.

I currently work full time as a childcare pre-K teacher. **SCHEDULING DETAILS** New clients- weekends only. Friday drop off must be 5pm or later. Weekdays- weekday boarding is available for return clients only. This is to ensure that your pet will feel safe and comfortable while I am away at work. Please send me a message with the dates and I will open them for you. ——————— Early mornings and enrichment filled evenings and weekends make up my home routine. Weekdays- early mornings, a 30-40min check in for potty and play, evening enrichment. Weekends - when the weather is good, 2-3mi hikes with my dog and additional walks and play throughout the day.
