Ever since I was a kid, I was always given responsibilities with caring for pets by friends, neighbors, and families. I understand the importance of enrichment for your dogs’ daily routine and I also recognize the amount of exercise and activity needed for each dog varies. I love socializing with dogs, whether it’s allowing them to have calm time with a toy, snuggling, or more rigorous playtime. I have experience working in dog shelters as well as fostering and owning my own dogs, so I am able to handle dogs of various sizes, ages, and behaviors. As an animal science major, I have taken courses discussing the behavior and psychology of many animals and how to train them. I believe that I have a special bond with dogs and I chose to do this as a career because of my passion for animals. I am a student but I do rover as my only form of work. I am taking a lighter class load this semester so I have more availability. I am very cautious of things outside that could be of danger or a trigger for your dog. I can also take them on activities that match their obedience level and age.
