With years of experience caring for a variety of pets, both my own and other people's, including my lovely 4-year-old staffy girl, I prioritise building strong connections and understanding each pet's unique needs. My love for animals goes beyond domestic pets; I have also been a researcher in South Africa for the African Elephant Research Unit, where I studied two herds of elephants. I recently left my corporate 9-5 job to take care of pets full-time. I go above and beyond to ensure that all of the pets I look after are comfortable, safe, and happy, whether it's through enriching activities, personalised attention, or maintaining open communication with pet owners. Would leave 6 stars if we could! Ciara came to meet Biggie last week before taking care of him and she asked all of the right questions and more. She has a lot of experience with dogs, including reactive dogs, and clearly knows what’s she’s doing. Makes a big difference leaving him knowing he’s well taken care of and is having a lovely time with his new friend.
Ciara is an exceptional person and you will not be disappointed with the care and eye for detail she has towards our furry friends. I have known her for over 5 years, she is flawlessly trustworthy and can put her mind to any task. She is really driven and adaptable, always coming up with great ideas to improve things. She has cat and house sat for me over the years, it really does make life so much easier when I leave our cat and home in her capable hands. She always gives so much love to our cat Freddie, she knows when he wants attention and when he wants space. Whenever I return from being away Freddie is always in better spirits then before we left. Ciara has plenty of experience with cats and dogs, she remains calm and composed when animals can become unwell or challenging. She is quick thinking and fast acting. She has always shown me respect and politeness and I am grateful we can rely on her. She keeps the house super tidy and provides reassuring updates whilst I am away. 5 stars from me.
Ciara has looked after our dog Barney on multiple occasions, both for short and long periods whilst we have been away. My husband and I were always nervous leaving Barney when we go on holiday, but since we found Ciara we no longer worry, she is amazing at communicating with us, sending regular photos of Barney enjoying walks and cuddles! He is always excited to see her when she picks him up, and we are safe in the knowledge that he is in really good hands, she is reliable and trustworthy and I would highly recommend her services to anyone considering finding a new dog sitter or walker.
