Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Ciara, and I'm 23 years old. I've been raised with pets my whole entire life up until I've lived on my own, and now I am petless. I grew up mostly around dogs and cats. Throughout my lifespan, I've lived with/owned 11 dogs and 5 cats. The first dog that I owned that I was fully responsible for was a 2 year old German Shepherd and I had just turned 12. Shortly after, I owned and cared for a teacup chihuahua puppy, so I have had experience with dogs of all sizes and different needs. My caring abilities that I've acquired from personal experience include potty-training, potty breaks, walking, bathing, grooming, and tending to any extra needs such as giving medication, and love and affection of course! I currently do not offer all of these services, but that can be further discussed upon arrangements.

No dogs under 1. Preferably 2+, but I will allow younger under certain circumstances. Must be well-behaved, no problems with tearing up furniture, chewing, or excessive barking. Must be child-friendly, as I do have a 2 year old daughter who will be home with me for a lot of the time. Your dog must also be comfortable in a small living space, since I live in a 1 bedroom, two story apartment and will not allow the dog to be upstairs, so if your dog is too high energy and you feel this could pose a problem, this may not be a fit choice for your pet.
A typical day
Walks and potty breaks will be around the apartment building I live in. I live in a more country-like area and there is enough land and walkable distances to meet your dog's needs. I am willing to take the dog out every 2 hours, or as needed. I will provide toys and lots of love and play-time!
