I have been a keen dog and cat lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up in the countryside surrounded by dogs, cats, sheep, horses, hens and so on..! My first dog lost her sight and hearing coming to the end of her life so we had to adapt care for her. My family dogs include a beautiful three legged greyhound and also an infinitely cute Italian Greyhound. I personally have adopted a rescue pup who keeps our rescue greyhound company. I have also had many cats including Siamese, Devon Rex's, and tabbys. They all had own needs later in life; diets, daily medication and extra cuddles and underrstanding. I have looked after multiple dogs ranging in age groups and breeds from Chihuahuas to French Bull dogs. Including an elderly terrier that had lost function of her back legs. My skills include: experience giving medication, caring for elderly and disabled dogs, puppy training, dog walking, teeth brushing, nail clipping, washing, aware of dietary needs for dogs and cats including foods they cannot eat. I work mornings 8-12 during the week and also part time remote work. All I need is Wifi if boarding and I can be around to keep the pets company as much as is needed in the afternoons. My morning work is flexible so if needed I can change a shift or two. Our two dogs are truly part of our family, we are active and take them everywhere. Errands, runs, hikes, beach, Target. You name it and they will be with us! We make them homemade food and they get the odd probiotic and vitamin if we think its needed. They are well trained and know their boundaries with us and others.
