I wanted to give a five star review but this is the best I can give. Pros: It was our first experience to board our dog Pumpkin since our Hawaii flights required multiple health certificates ahead of 10 days and we’re running out of preparation time. Chutiphol is a really great and communicative person. During the one week stay, Chutiphol sent me many pictures every day as we communicated. Also, he updated me with how Pumpkin eats and plays. His family are dog lovers and I can see Pumpkin is comfortable. Pumpkin sometimes tends to be an aggressive player but Chutiphol managed his energy with great training. Those are the things we really appreciated! Injury: However, when picking up Pumpkin 2 days ago I noticed he has lots of eye discharge around his left eye (my right). It was said that it’s normal with this breed of dog but I knew it’s not Pumpkin’s normal eye situation. Taking home, even my parents who are not usually interested in my dog noticed the difference. After one day watching Pumpkin, we basically wiped his eye discharge every 1 hour because it’s continuing coming out as green and yellow. Also, he always pawed his eyes like it’s feeling not comfortable. If he took a nap ~2 hours, the eye discharge filled his eye and he could barely open the eye. Today early morning it was confirmed by the vet that he’s got an eye infection and the eye exam shows a slight scratch in his left eye. He’s now on eye medication and needs to revisit the vet one week after. It could be due to incautious dog playing, and we don’t want to blame the sitter for the accident, but all I hoped is that I could have been informed about the situation earlier.
