Pet care experience
After a lifetime with dogs and usually more than one at a time our 17 year old Jack Russell and our 17 year old yorkie passed away within months of each other. When we had the four Russell’s that herd would walk the local golf course, hiked the mountains and traveled with us. Today the world has become isolated so both your family dog and I can bring each other comfort as we walk your local neighborhood. I have a large yard that has hedges over the chain link fence to keep the dogs in while not letting passerby’s see the dogs I’m a retired registered nurse that misses the joy dogs bring to life but not ready to replace our Jack Russell’s or yorkie after the 17 years they gave us. I have a half acre fenced yard giving your dog an area to run and explore. At one time we had four Jack Russells that ran miles in this yard and I still had to walk them.

Chuck was amazing with our dogs! He sent lots of pictures and videos. Honestly they had such a great time we were worried they wouldn't want to come home lol. I could not recommend Chuck more. If you want a trusting dog sitter who will prioritize you fur baby, Chuck is your guy. Thanks again for everything Chuck!
Chuck was perfect! He sent several photos each day and is a great communicator. Our dog Bella is a finicky eater and Chuck texted food reports daily. She loved chasing squirrels in the large, fenced and interesting yard. This was the first time Bella stayed with Chuck and she clearly missed him when we got home. We highly recommend!
My dogs always have the best time at Chuck’s house. They get lots of outdoor time to run around and chase squirrels and lots of love and cuddles. It gives me great peace of mind to have someone who is willing to care for and dote on my high maintenance dogs.
Chuck is is very reliable, flexible and helpful with our pups. They get a lot of outside playtime at his house. He communicates well and understands their quirky personalities. Really appreciate his willingness to host them.

If you are not vaccincated I'm not your person due to someone in my home being immunocompromised. If you have a young puppy I would like them to have their shots in case I have another dog here at the same time. I don’t take on any new families without a meet and greet

Availability
I'm a retired nurse and at the present time we do not have a four legged family member. In January 2021 I started on Rover. The dogs I care for and their families are very important to me and because of them I have become picky with who I choose and when I’m available. I have been fortunate to have met so many wonderful people and seen the love they have for their dogs. I treat every dog as if they are my own because how can anyone not love a dog ? If you reach out to me and I’m not available I hope you find the right fit for your family because every dog deserves the best.
