Hello! My name is Chrysta and I graduated from Charleston Southern University with a degree in Wildlife Biology. I have a passion for working with animals, as I have worked both as a dog trainer and in veterinary hospitals. My life has always seemed to revolve around animals! If you're looking for an energetic individual to spend some quality time with your dog, I'm your girl! I can train them, walk them, watch them during the day, or even watch them if you leave town. I am available to make home visits for care, as I own my own car. Let me know if you have any questions at all, I'd love to answer them!

Chrysta Z. has taken good care of my dog. She spent a significant amount of time training him and he now obeys several commands. She has also provided many useful suggestions on how to curb aggression toward other dogs and how to use positive reinforcement to encourage appropriate behavior. As my dog has aged she has given many useful tips to keep him healthy. I love that she really cares for my dog and the feeling is mutual - my dog just loves her! She is very trustworthy and knowledgable. I feel confident in her advice since she has her degree in Wildlife Biology and has a dog trainer certification. Chrysta watched my geriatric dog for me for 5+ years. She gave him his meds, walked him faithfully, and helped train him to be not only more calm, but obedient to boot. She is an A+ trainer as well as walker, smart, easy to work with and happy to help in any way she can! Her services were well worth the money!

I'm not in a position to watch pets in my own home but I will come visit yours! I have experience with well trained dogs all the way to aggressive dogs, regardless of their personality my interactions with animals are always respectful and non-violent.

I think it's important to know the dogs triggers, if any, and what motivates the dog (be it play, food or experiences). It would also be important to know the lifestyle of the owner to get a baseline of where/how I should approach working with your pet!
A typical day
I love to go for walks and explore new places, exposing your dog to interesting and novel stimulus. My goal is to introduce your dog to new places and smells and sounds in a healthy way so your dog is as well adjusted as possible.
