Hi, my name is Christy 😀 While I did not grow up with any pets, prior to adopting my first dog in 2012, I was around family and friends who had animals. It quickly became a love affair when I adopted my Shepherd-Collie cross. Sadly, she did pass away this past November. After some time mourning, I decided to create my Rover account and start offering dog walking and client in home services as I have noticed an emptiness after Bella passed. I have also volunteered at animal shelters to provide dog walking and play time.

Christy is super caring towards all pets and absolutely loves dogs! Our pups loved her so much and always knew they would get snuggles when Aunty Christy came to visit! She also was a loving mama to her dog, Bella.

Whether it’s caring for your canine in a large fenced in yard, on an outside lead during outdoor play time, or taking a few minutes for a leisurely stroll; I will care for your beloved canine following your wants and needs.

Incorporating physical, exploratory and social canine-enrichment activities; such as a game of fetch/chase, a puzzle toy or scent game if outdoor activity is not possible or taking a few minutes at the end of a walk or visit to snuggle. All while keeping in mind your canines physical abilities and temperament

Availability
I recently took a temporary leave of absence, which has allowed for a more open and flexible schedule. While most of my clients prefer weekly scheduled walks, this flexibility has allowed for 24/7 client in home pet sitting; which has been ideal for pets who are anxious and cannot be left alone for an extended period of time.
