Pet care experience
I had cats and dogs growing up and recently had to say goodbye to my own furbaby after 16+ years. I have experience with elderly dogs. I am a recent retiree and very much looking forward to a new career doing something I love. I currently do not have a dog of my own. We are still processing the loss of our family dog and are not ready to become fulltime furparents just yet! Our home is quiet and peaceful and your pet will be very relaxed and receive one on one care.

I do not have a fenced in yard, but my little terrier was NEVER out of my sight and your dog will not be let outside without me being with them and on a leash. Our home is pet free, child free, smoke free and very peaceful. If you have a dog that does not do well in a kennel situation, this is the place for them!

I'm willing to work with dogs that have behavioral issues such as not being able to be around other animals or children. I have lots of experience with anxious dogs. I can give oral medications/supplements.
A typical day
We can easily adjust to any dogs schedule. If your dog requires a potty break in the middle of the night, we can certainly do that as we had to do it with our elderly dog. Your dog will get 2 long walks around our quiet lake neighborhood if they are up for it and several other short potty walks a day. There is plenty of room inside for hide n seek, fetch and tug of war. We have lots of big windows for bird and squirrel watching.

I currently work three days a week but am otherwise available Thursday through Sunday. I am happy to watch your pet in my home for daycare or overnight stays. If I do get called in to work there will be someone else in the home to step in and my workplace is only 5 minutes away.
