I grew up on a farm with pets of all sorts. Obedience trained my family and friends' dogs, tamed a feral cat until he trusted us to hold him any sort of way, rode horses, moved and doctored cattle, showed sheep at the fair, had my fair share of guinea pigs, rats, bearded dragons, and fish with my siblings. After college, I volunteered at another farm, helping with more horses, sheep, chickens, bunnies, miniature horses, and a cat. I also helped board and walk neighbors' dogs and loved each one. If all that doesn't tell you how much I enjoy animals, then let me set the record straight: I would love to spend time with and love on your pet! The more hair, purrs, zoomies, and tail wagging around the house, the better.
