I've had dogs my entire life, they've always been a beloved and well-cared-for member of the family. I started volunteering with the Humane Society at 19 and did so for many years. That exposed me to many breeds, dispositions, and special challenges. It also taught me to learn what each dog needs as an individual - they're all unique! I'm gentle and loving, but have experience w/training, so we'll also be sure to mind our manners :-) My house sits far off of the road and has lots of trees and yard space, which allows for lots of safe and fun outdoor play time. My dog is incredibly gentle and loves all furry friends big and small, but if yours is shy I can keep mine separate.
