This was our first time using Rover due to our regular cat sitter being unavailable. Our experience was less than positive. After a few irregular updates about visits, we took a look at some history using the security cameras and door lock opening/closing info and discovered that the visits were consistently much shorter than the hour we were paying for, in some cases less than 10 minutes. We decided at that point to leverage some pet-owning friends for the remainder of our time away; one of our cats was so stressed he had sprayed part of our home. A positive is that the cats were fed based on what we know, but the visits were consistently so much less than an hour that we were concerned about the cat's welfare, given that it normally takes a good 15 minutes just to do a fee/water/litter-box cleaning cycle. Not a good experience for us or the cats; we don't plan to use Rover again in the future and will be leaving the platform.
