It's important for me to meet you and your pet beforehand to discuss their needs and behaviors. It helps everything go more smoothly. Does your dog or cat have any peculiar behaviors? special needs? or behaviors they particularly like or dislike? Anything I need to watch out for? I do need to know about any aggressions, allergies, dietary needs, and typical schedule along with any needs specific to your dog or cat.

For dog walks: There are a lot of great parks in the neighborhood to explore and I will happily play with and take your dog to their favorite places. If your pet has a special toy, please let me know. For a typical drop-in visit: - I enter and turn off any alarms (always making sure nobody escapes!) and lock the door behind me. - I say hello to anyone who wants to greet me, making sure to at least put eyes on my shy friends. - I feed them according to your directions. I also make sure their bowls are clean and no smelly cans are left to rot! I will clean up any messes they make too. - Each visit, I’ll change their water or add water to a fountain as needed. Fresh water is important! - I scoop the litter every visit. - The rest of the time is for play and snuggles. Or quiet, kind words. Whatever your pet needs. - I always leave your house exactly as I found it. Your home is sacred and I treat the way I'd like my own treated. I double check that everyone is where they’re supposed to be, all doors and windows are locked, and any alarm is set. - I’ll always send you photos and a note so you can see how each visit went.
