My parents called their Yellow Labs their first kids—so you could say dogs have always been a big part of my life. I got my first dog at 13 and now have a 4 year old, very mellow Golden Retriever. Big dogs have my heart but I love dogs of all ages and sizes. From watching friends’ Pomeranians to Great Danes, I love walking and playing with any dog (and my dog enjoys the companionship as well).

Christy is great. She handled anythingy crew thru at her with no complaints. She is caring and understanding and very responsive. She even had a back up person planned for when she unexpectedly got hurt (hiking) so my fur family was still cared for very well. I will definitely be asking for her help again.
Christy is a friendly, fun, and responsible dog sitter with a golden retriever of her own. My cattledog is highly anxious and often more than a little difficult and distrustful, and even she loves spending time with Christy! She’s organized about feeding and walking schedules and will make sure your pooch feels comfortable while you’re away!

From regularly washing my dog’s food and water bowls to her bed, I like to keep things clean (aside from the occasional fluff that fills the house when my dog destroys a stuffed animal).

Please let me know if your dog has any dietary restrictions or specific meal times. Additionally, please fill me in on if there are any behaviors you’re working to modify or things your pup isn’t allowed to do—nothing worse than going backwards in training.
A typical day
Depending on the dog’s age, training, and activity level, I love going on taking them for walks on the strand or letting them play fetch on the beach (only if it’s okay with you for them to be off leash).

Availability
I work from home full-time, eastern time zone. I’m up around 6am, so if your dog is an early riser they’re in luck (if not, my meetings are flexible so I can take them out later in the morning)! I’m able to take your pup for regular walks and give them lots of attention during the day. My dog and I take three 30 minute - 1 hour walks on the beach each day (and often a ball throwing session at Newport El) and I can take your pup for more or less depending on their energy level.
