Pet care experience
I had both dogs (Huskies!) and cats growing up. I have owned multiple cats as an adult and lived with even more through roommates, while also lavishing attention on my friend's dogs! I love going on walks, so dog walking is definitely on my list! I have done pet-sitting for multiple friends and acquaintances in the past few years, including giving diabetes shots and topical meds in the ear. My own cat currently takes meds via syringe into the mouth.

Christy communicated thoroughly with me during every visit and sent lots of pictures. I have a cat that needs insulin shots twice a day, and she was able to care for my diabetic cat as well. I was grateful for her help because I can't always get away with an insulin-dependent animal.
Christy always does a fantastic job. Her communication is always great and our cat loves her. Her attention to details for our car is fantastic. Thank you for everything, Christy!
Christy did a great job checking on our kitties - getting them fed their evening wet food, cleaning their litter boxes, and making sure they got plenty of pets and love. We loved her updates and the photos she shared from all the drop ons!

I am respectful of people's homes and their animals (including giving animals space and just being there with them if that is what they need!). If you have a door dasher, please let me know to be aware when entering/exiting. Any no-nos are good to know, as well. I am used to following a meds schedule for my own cat and can do so for your animal, too! :)

I would love to know if there are things I need to watch out for on walks (behaviors around other dogs, pulls really hard, etc), just so I am prepared! :)
A typical day
I enjoy walking around neighborhoods with sidewalks or if there are no sidewalks, it's fun to find a park with a path to go on the walk! With cats, I love playing with toys with the cats and giving them pets, if they allow it. I am also happy to give them space to get to know me and feel more comfortable, if that is what they need, as well.

Availability
I live in Columbia Heights and work full-time in Maplewood (8am-4:30pm). If you are outside my range, but between my work and home, I'm more likely to be able to accept jobs still! 🙂
