I absolutely love spending time with animals and giving them the care and attention they deserve. I have taken care of animals since I was a young child, starting with the stray cats on my grandparents' farm. My pet care expertise is mainly with small mammals and exotic pets. At different times throughout high school and college I had and cared for various fish, 4 birds and 2 guinea pigs as pets - all of whom lived until old age under my care. In graduate school, I adopted one cat as a pet and also began volunteering my cat sitting services to friends and colleagues. Now, as a home owner who works full-time from home, I still have my indoor cat from graduate school, but I also take care of half a dozen outdoor cats from the colonies of strays in my neighborhood and I foster strays I come across who seem like they need a home. So far, we have re-homed all three of the stray cats that we have fostered. Additionally, I have experience taking care of special needs pets and administering medication to pets, particularly cats. I love meeting new pet buddies and look forward to caring for any of your little friends!
