I’ve looked after friends’ dogs for years now as I absolutely love then and dogs seem to always like me and listen to me! I always make sure to ask and understand the routine that a dog had at home so I can try and follow it. I am aware that dogs love a routine so sticking to it is very important to me. I like to treat dogs like family so play time, walks are a must. I also know that when dogs misbehave, feel uncomfortable or threatened I need to make sure that they are safe I intervene when I have to. Two years ago, I got my own dog, Obi the whippet, which has given me even more knowledge and experience in looking after dogs. Obi is very kind natured, like every other whippet, and gets along with all the dogs. He is very chilled and usually sleeps when we are at home! He loves to run so a bit of ball catch competition will tire your dog and mine out 😉

Christos is a pet owner himself and I know from experience that he is very caring and respectable towards his own pet but also of the ones around him. Christos has been dog-sitting for my pet on occasion and was always aware and fully understanding on how to take care of my pet based on the instructions given to him. I can definitely recommend him as a pet caretaker when you need his help.
Christos took care of my German Shepherd puppy at my house for just shy of a week. I cannot speak highly enough of Christos' amazing skill in taking care of a teething GSD puppy. He went above and beyond just the usual feeding, and focused on playtime and cuddles (despite the fact that my puppy was exhibiting signs that he might also be part shark). It was the first time i was away from my pup and it was hard, but having witnessed first-hand how Christos is with his own dog, it really put my mind at ease. I never had doubts that my pup was in safe hands. I even came back to my house being cleaner than i left it - added bonus with Christos. You won't find a better caregiver for your pet than Christos - that's for sure. He is reliable, responsible and caring. If you want peace of mind, Christos is definitely your guy.
Christos looked after my dog Melody several times and he has always been great. Melody always enjoys spending time with Christos as it’s always fun, getting lots of exercise and lots of attention and cuddles. I would definitely recommend Christos as I’m always at ease when he is looking after Melody.

I live in a fairly big, two bedroom apartment, which has plenty of space for two medium sized dogs to run around, sleep, relax or have their own space if they want to. There is a communal garden at the back of the building if I have to take the dog out for a quick toilet break and within a 2 mins walk, there is a park with a massive field that your dog can walk and run around, play fetch or meet other dogs. If you dog doesn’t get along with other dogs that’s fine as we can go at different times when other dogs are not there. The field however is big enough for dogs to play alone without interruptions

I would love to know about their routine for all different times of the day: morning, afternoon and evening. I would also like to know if there are any specific times the dog is used to eat, have a snack and how many treats they are allowed a day. Also, because I have a dog I want to know if your dog will be ok with that. My dog gets along with all the dogs and never had any issues but want to make sure that your dog will be comfortable
A typical day
A typical day in my flat is wake up around 7am, I get ready and then Obi and I go for our morning walk to the local park which is 2 mins walk from my flat. We spend a good 20 mins there, either walking around, throwing the ball or playing with other dogs. We come home I start work and Obj usually sleeps on the sofa or his bed. We go have a little play time in between morning and lunch. At lunch time, usually 12 ish we go for another walk and this is where we spend a good 30 mins playing with other dogs that are at the park or fetch the ball. Obi loves running so I make sure he gets the exercise he needs. After that we come home and it’s work time for me whilst obi is chilling! When I finish work, we go for our evening walk around 6 and again we are out for around 20-25 mins walking around town. Obi is ok his lead during the evening walk.. unless it’s summer which means more play at the park. Evening means cooking for me and we relax on the sofa with some music or a movie.

Availability
I work from home 4 days a week and I have to be in the office every Friday, hence why I cannot have a dog staying over on Thursday nights. And other day of the weeks is ok with me and I’m quite flexible in terms of taking the dog out for a walk or quick toilet break. There is a communal garden at my building if there is a need for that.
