Power on! Pets need a vacation too

Pet care experience

I have always grown up in an animal loving home with pets and now even though I don't have any I get to work from home, doing what I enjoy. Im almost always available as Rover is my main job. I only watch one clients pet at a time, I will board 2 if they if come together as a pair. I live in a small one bedroom apartment but it's enough room for a couple small dogs or one large breed. Pets are free to get on our futon couch and watch TV with us and get on the bed as well. We kinda treat a pets like a friend lol. I believe using Rover is much better than the dog daycare businesses that board because they actually get alot attention and is more like the home they are used to and not a small caged area. Both me and my fiance are animal lovers. We are both active and enjoy walks, playing with new pets and going to the park. I am used to watching dogs with issues like anxiety/hyperactivity and know how to give medicine to pets. I can take dogs out every 0-2 hours if elderly, puppy or has bladder problems. Be sure to go over any medical problems with me. I'm comfortable with both large/small breeds. If your pet will be staying overnight just let me know their usual schedule and I will try to accommodate for a smooth transition until you return.

Christopher and his fiancé were amazing! They took in my two bunnies and bird while we were still evacuated for the hurricane. They made things so easy for us during this stressful time and sent me great pics! I could tell my bunnies were in great hands and were so confident and comfortable with them and even followed them to the fridge haha! They went out of their way to even get them treats and my bunnies were allowed to run around and play in the apartment and sit on couch while they watched tv. I would highly recommend them for pet sitting even if you don’t have a cat or dog!!

Christopher was able to accommodate my two bunnies and bird at the last minute for hurricane ida and I can tell that they are already so comfortable with him. He was able to adapt quickly to the bunnies and they even began following his fiancé to the fridge which is a big deal for them! They def had a great time and I received pictures regularly and follow up texts on their days! Highly recommend them!!

I chose Chris based on already having a rating and repeat costumers. Chris and his wife are wonderful and loving people. Chris is a veteran and understood that my service dog loves to cuddle and creates attachments. He sent me pictures periodically and let me visit when I could. What I'll say here is, don't judge a book by its cover. Chris has a small home, but it is comfortable and full of love. After a few days that my Pitt bull was with him and his wife, I could see my dog loved them and they took great care of her. Since then, I extended her stay and used them again for when I went out of town. I had to wait for my condo to verify her service dog credits, so now she is home, but whenever I need a pet sitter again, he will be the first person I go to. He's very generous and a kind man. I would highly recommend him to watch any pet. I'm very grateful I found him through this app.

Christopher agreed to pick up dogs at our hotel, which was helpful. When we picked up dogs at his apartment, it was scary and no windows. Dogs smelled like cigarettes.

Availability

My schedule is very open and free because at this time Rover is my full time job. I can accommodate your pets typical schedule as requested. No room to run inside but we go on several walks throughout the day and sometimes to the park to get out of the house. Just really relax, watch tv and sleep inside. Animals are free to roam and get on the futon with us and watch Netflix . I include walks and potty breaks every 0 to 2 hours or as needed for elderly pets, puppies and bladder issues.
