I have had dogs in my life for over 40 years. I have had large and small dogs. My dogs are part of the family. They travel with me whenever I can take them. I love dogs so much that I also volunteer at a dog rescue.

Christopher drops in a couple of times a week since the end of this summer and it’s been going GREAT! My dog Flash loves Chris! They have a routine.. first intense sniffing ( because he has his own and also watches other doggies as well) then play indoor fetch game, then a quick walk around the block. Chris was also flexible on schedule changes, and he always let me know if running late, etc. communication really fast, very reliable person for your four legged family member!

I like to know if your dog is aggressive to other dogs or people. I would also like to know if I will need to provide medications. I also like to know their little "nuances" - they like but rubs, belly rubs, etc. Lastly, I would like to know what their walking preferences are - walk and sniff everything or brisk non-stop walk or etc.
A typical day
My two Westies get at least 3 walks a day. I will typically walk them as far as they want to go (that’s usually 3-4 miles a day in total). About once a week, we like to go to the forest preserve where they can take in all the new smells. Also, once or twice a week we will try a new or different venue for walking to mix things up a bit. They love to play in the yard chasing balls and just goofing around. When the day is all done, we retire to the bedroom where they snuggle up with me and their two kitty friends.

I am currently between jobs and want to “up” my interaction with my furry friends. I am up early and go to bed late so I am open to drop in visits and dog walking most of the day.
