Pet care experience
Up until quite recently I've had both dogs and cats as part of the family for my whole life. I'm comfortable with all aspects of their care, including puppy training, senior dog requirements, and most medication dosing as needed. I've also had a variety of small and exotic pets throughout my life including Hedgehogs, Rats, Lizards, and Snakes.

When I met Chris in 2021, he had an eleven year old dog named Jazzy! she was a senior when he adopted her and he made sure she came first. at her end of life, he took all the time needed to care for her and keep her comfortable, they shared everything. he is an avid dog lover, always stopping and asking walkers or hikers to pet their dogs. he dog-sits when he can for friends and family. i highly recommend Chris for a Rover position because he can meet the needs of both the pet and the owner.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, medications, scheduling requirements, or triggers. Do they do well on a leash/do they have any specific commands or training consistency needs. Do they interact well with other animals if we're on a walk? Is there anywhere they really don't like being patted/touched. Are they afraid of thunder? Info like that.
A typical day
I love meeting new dogs and re-meeting old friends! I'll make sure your furry friend gets lots of fresh air and playtime outside. I'm also big on long ear scratch and tummy rub sessions. Anything to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. If I'm sitting for you on weekdays, know that I have a fairly flexible work schedule. Your dog will always get a walk first thing in the morning, a walk at noon, and as many as they need in the evening. Additionally, I'm often able to work remote and be there for them 24/7.

Availability
I currently work week days from 8AM to 5PM. Breaks are flexible though and my care radius reflects my work location so I can usually check in on your furry friend throughout the day. I also have remote work flexibility so more hands-on care can be arranged.
