Pet care experience
My family always had dogs growing up so I’ve taken care of them my whole life. I was responsible for walking, feeding, and bathing our pets along with play time. We’ve had several dogs that have lived way past their life expectancy so I have good experience with elderly pets as well as puppies. When I got married, my wife introduced cats into my life. Now I don’t know which animal I like better! I can feed cats,’play (if needed), and clean out cat boxes. I’m always looking to learn something new!

Christopher (Jake) is my husband and the father to our son. He is the most loving and kind person I’ve ever met. He is so great with our 3 month old son, CJ, and all of our pets. He is very caring in nature and always does his best to make people happy. I couldn’t trust a person more even if I tried. I know he is excited to start meeting new people and pets!

I have a fenced in yard and a 1/2 acre to roam. I live in nice neighborhood with low traffic. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. Daisy is a half German Shepard and half Beagle mix. She is very sweet and timid and likes to howl. Diesel is a full blood chocolate lab. He is playful but obedient. Gator is a long haired tortoiseshell cat. She minds to herself and is very bonded with my wife. Ollie is a long haired blonde cat. He is playful, rambunctious, and is bonded with me the most. All my animals have always gotten along with other animals. Like stated before, Daisy is timid but she is not protective. All my animals are neutered/spayed. The cats are NOT declawed.

I’m currently working full time but I’m trying new things to consider quitting my job and working freelance. My wife and I have a new baby and I would love to be able to stay at home more while my wife chases her career. I am flexible and will do whatever I can while I keep my job. I’m hoping this platform helps me reach my goal of staying home more with my son.
