NOTE: the negative reviews on my account are made by scammers and or people that lied about their experiences with me. I keep things professional and I have nothing but love for cats and dogs! My name is Christopher Kinney and I’ve been involved in animal care for over 15 years. I have always had either cats or dogs around me as pets or to help my fellow neighbors. I live in downtown Brooklyn heights area and hope to have the pleasure of meeting your furry friends! Please feel free to contact at anytime. I own two cats and love all animals. Currently this is my main source of employment. I would feel honored to help you if possible! I have a safe environment for animals but until further notice I will not be offering boarding of animals as it’s up to my building manager to decide if it’s allowed.

Chris is a local to Brooklyn Heights area and made it easy to book. He was easy to talk to and has experience with cats. His sister works for rover and his father worked in animal rescue. He came in for a tour and a meet and greet day before the booking and left the keys on his way out the last day. He followed our instructions of feeding and cleaning the litter box and provided rover cards updates and pictures. If you’re in a bind Chris is your guy for drop in visits.

He didn't visit on all the days he said he was visiting. I could tell because I counted the cans of cat food before I left and when I returned. Also the litter box had clearly not been emptied for many days. He had sent pics of my cat from a couple of days, but on most days sent pictures of his arm??? and said my cat was being shy (she's never shy), or otherwise reused old pics. What's more shocking than the lies is how little effort he put into covering it up. I had been gone for over a week and came home to a VERY hungry and upset cat, and we had to deal with behavioral issues due to food insecurity for weeks afterwards (eg attacking people with food). I wonder how many other visits he's exploited like this; it's not like the animals in question can say they've been neglected. This person should not be on this app, and I would beg anyone to avoid booking with this person.

If an animal requires special needs, including medicine or specific walk/feeding schedule, please include in messages. I’ve had to look over a cat and play music to keep him calm while away from his owner.
A typical day
I love to cuddle with clients animals, typically I like to wake up, make sure said animals are fed, go for a 30 minute or longer walk, usually the park by me is perfect for it. If there are special needs, I will do as requested, evening usually includes a similar walk schedule and then a relaxed evening to make them feel loved since their owners are away.

I tend to cater to my clients animals as my first and second responsibility. My schedule is flexible. I travel from my own area to as far as mid Manhattan for my clients.
