I'm a new New Yorker and I miss my dogs - Homer, a wolf-shepherd who was and always will be The Best Dog in the World, and Max, Homer's standard poodle sidekick and protege. I raised both of them from puppies. Together we traveled all over the US in our vintage Airstream home for over 5 years. Those two could accomplish just about anything, from quietly patrolling wherever we called home each night to outwitting coyotes to simply barking at a treed squirrel all day. If I could have gotten them passports, I bet they would have brought peace to the Middle East. I love New York but I miss my canine posse. They were my pack and I think I served them well as their leader, though I'm confident they were really in charge and they just acted like I was so I wouldn't feel stupid.

Jeff looked after our older dog for over a year. They enjoyed each other so much that Jeff would invite him on vacations all over the country. I truly believe that his time with Jeff helped him rediscover a youthful energy that we thought was lost, ultimately extending his life. I recommend Jeff without reservation.
Jeff has been a passionate, loving dog owner for as long as I have known him. He arranged for me to adopt one of his dogs littermates several years ago and we make it a point to bring the two together from time to time to reunite or travel together. We sometimes have conversations about dog psychology which is a testament to the fact that he cares about dogs enough to understand this crucial element in having a great relationship with dogs and for training dogs. His dogs were the most well behaved and socialized dogs I have ever met. He has traveled with them extensively in widely diverse environments. Jeff is caring, mature, responsible, intelligent, respectful to others who may not like dogs, has a great personality, and has great common-sense.
