Pet care experience
Always had pets growing up, then got married and moved out, my wife and I both love animals, we just don’t have any right now, but we miss them, so we thought this would be a great chance to fill that hole in our hearts and try out taking care of animals together before we commit to one long term!

Christopher took good care of my babies while I was away. Walking them nightly to keep them on their daily routine. I was very pleased with how he kept them on schedule. Highly recommend. 👍🏻
Christopher has dog-sat for our family on several occasions and has been phenomenal with our fur-baby. He handles our big doggo easily and she never comes home with any issues. He gives great care to feeding schedules, exercise and lots of love. I highly recommend him!

I have a fenced yard in front of our apartment about 10x10 so it is small, and inside we have an upstairs and downstairs, probably will keep the pets downstairs with a doggy gate (cat will probably have free reign inside haha) we have a comfy couch but dog beds are more than welcome in our home. We know it’s hot outside so animals will be kept indoors when no one is home, unless they are not trained. We know where all the local dog parks are, and love going for walks. Cats are fun too, if they’re standoffish or love attention! If we are staying in your home, that is fine, we have our own air mattress, if you have space, but we do like to keep our work commute under 45 minutes, which will give us more time with the pets! I have a truck to carry to park, or we have a small car too, if we need to do any traveling.

Biggest piece of information for me is whether or not your dog is friendly with other animals. We have no pets in our home, but I would like to know if I’m walking him how close to keep him to me when another animal comes around. Another thing is whether or not your pet likes/respects males or females better. We know some history with pups causes them to distrust males, which is fine, but This will help my wife and I decide who the main caretaker will be for the duration of the visit. Medicine/allergies/preferred snacks, how often the pet is fed per day, is also useful information
A typical day
A park to us is bob briscoe park, my wife and I enjoy walking the disc golf trail, which is a little over a mile, and there’s a two part dog park one side for little dogs, one side for big.

Availability
We both work a 40 hour week, but with different schedules, I start early and get home early, my wife starts a little later, gets home a little later, so there is about 6 hours a day when no one is home, but I have a very flexible schedule and we both have weekends off
