Animals are inherently apart of who I am as a person, and my love and compassion for them is a part of my soul and what makes me, well me! Now that the emotional sappiness is out of the way (heart on my sleeve type of person!), here's a little bit 'About Me': - First and foremost, animal person extraordinaire! - Growing up, my Dad's side of the family had Labradors & a Snowshoe kit cat, & Mom's side had Shar Pei dogs :) - I now have three pets of my own, whom I have raised since each were a kitten or pup; 11 year old Cheetoh kitty named Thisbe (Queen Bee of the house!), 3 year old Siberian Husky named Sibyl (adventurer/free spirit woman of the house), & 6 year old Aussie named Apollo (my right hand man!). My kids are the heart and soul of my being, and I love'em like a fat kid loves cake! - I am an outdoor enthusiast, and, yep, you guessed it, my dogs (& cat depending on the activity) are my adventure partners! Whether it's hiking, camping, backpacking, packrafting, running, walking, snowboarding, we do it all as family & are very active. - I certainly have training experience not only teaching my family pets growing up (my parents are horrible trainers, ha), but also in raising my 3 four leggeds over the last 11 years. - There are no bad pets, just bad owners.
