It's undeniable, there is special relationship and bond between dogs and their people. I follow the Ami-Chien Bonding (translation: Dog-Friend Bonding) technique in caring for, playing and working with dogs. This style is about establishing leadership and bonding vs dominance. I am a very routined person, and believe that dogs thrive within a routined environment consisting of the right combination of care, love and play. I am available during weekdays and most Saturdays for sitting, day care (my home or yours), and dog walking. Weekend-stay pups can be picked up as early as 6 a.m. on Monday morning. We have a Border Collie of our own, so daycare and overnight guests will need a Meet and Great here first. We have a medium sized fully fenced yard with a lot of sights and sounds and room to play. Boarded and day care dogs will also get a nice jaunt or two or three to expend some energy and experience new smells. There is a fully fenced off leash dog park within walking distance of us, and numerous trails and parks that we enjoy rain or shine. I have a leash attachment for my bike. So if your dog likes to run, and you're in board I can take your pal for a nice jog. We have twin teenagers whose love for dogs began at birth! I have taught them how to behave and handle dogs from a very early age. They will be present, and involved in some aspects of dog-care. More hands for petting and play!
