I will be your dog's back-up friend
Pet care experience
In the course of my life I have had four dogs. They were all very different but each played a special role in my life. My last dog, named Nikko was really a family member who always gave comfort and helped me during difficult periods in high school. Since leaving home I have not been able to have a dog (either because of rental restrictions or long term travel) but I would love to make new dog friends and provide support for humans who must attend to other tasks and cannot bring their love ones along. I am trying to establish a running routine, so I will also go running with your four legged friend! Indeed, I am very active, and I feel comfortable completing arduous activities with your dog. However, If your pet is into the finer pursuits of life (e.g. barely moving, snacks, watching squirrels from a distance), I also love to provide cuddles.

Information Christine S. would like to know about your pet
I don't have any breed preferences but I would like to know from owners about behavioral and health issues. It is important that your dog feel safe with me especially since I am a stranger coming into what he or she considers to be their safe space. Also, if the dog is experiencing a health issue I would need to know this in case of an emergency.
A typical day
In lexington I enjoy walking at the Ashland estate, and around downtown. If your home is far away from these sites, I generally try to find nearby parks. Spaces with enclosures, such as the Masterson Station dog park are also preferred as they allow the dog to play without running away. I do have a car and can transport animals to preferable walking sites and to medical facilities in emergencies.
