I dont have a fenced yard but I have an acre of land and two dogs myself. They stay pretty good around other animals and are loving. I watch my neighbors fur baby all the time..I have a crate also if I'm given instructions to put in one

I have an acre of land 3 dogs two birds and children weight plenty for the babies to do army home if anything o have dog runners they can go back and forth on they are over 200 foot runners so it's plenty of room
