Pawsitively purrfect pet care!
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Christy and I graduated with a B.S. in pre-veterinary medicine. I'll be on my way to veterinary school in August 2024. Currently, I work as a vet tech/assistant; 4 years and counting. I welcome every chance to do the thing I love and work with animals! I have been caring for animals for 16 years. I know each pet has their own personality and style. I adapt to you and your pet's needs from walks to playing and cuddling! I'm comfortable with: • All breeds and pet species • Giving oral and injectable medications • Feeding, walking, brushing, playing and other general care • Working on dog basic training (sit, down, stay, paw, etc.) I have a pet-friendly car to go on adventures down walking trails or at the park. I am also available to care for other pets, such as cats, bunnies, chickens, fish, etc.! Please feel free to ask about the specific pricing for these services.
Reviews
Christy was amazing with our dog Lilly! Kept us updated on their time together and sent plenty of pictures of their adventures!
Christy was a dream. She bonded with my dog Colby immediately, and took good care of him, exercising, playing and sending us photos throughout the evening.. She used her educational and practical skills to play with Colby and engaging his senses in a fun way. She’ll be a vet some day and will be most excellent. Highly highly recommend Christy as an incredible sitter.
Christine was a wonderful pet sitter! She bonded with our cats, even our shy one and sent us multiple updates throughout the process. She is very knowledgeable about animal health and care. We felt very comfortable leaving our pets while we were out of the country!
We couldn’t be happier with Christy who cared for our two Chihuahuas over memorial day weekend! She was not daunted by taking on the needs of a senior who is sundowning at night it is on multiple oral medications. She sent us update photos periodically (and she is a good photographer! ) with just the appropriate frequency to make us feel reassured that they were doing well and in capable hands. She left our house in a tidy and pristine condition, clearly communicating where the girls were in their evening routine prior to leaving. If we need to leave our girls at home again, Christy would be our first choice!
