Dog Lover with Free Weekends!
Pet care experience
I currently work from home part time, and I have more than just weekends available to help support you and your dog(s) needs with day care and overnight stays. I'm a general pet lover and have had animals my entire life. I have direct experience with giant dog breeds, experience with administrating insulin shots to pets, providing medications, ear cleansings, and have extensive experience in dogs requiring special diet needs, specifically for dogs that have food allergies. I have fostered dogs and volunteered with Great Dane rescue in the past. Your dog can enjoy a quiet and engaging environment during their stay, as well as having a play buddy. My current dog, Moose (born 2016) is an 80 pound adopted mix, who loves to play and has his own Rover.com sitters and dog friends. We are happy to offer and share our positive experiences with you and your dog(s).
Reviews
Thank you so much for taking such good care of Tiza, again!
Rocco had a wonderful time with Christine and Moose. She sent many pictures and videos keeping us up to date with his activities. Thank you so much for caring for our baby.
Christine is amazing! Gus loves his stays with her.
Christine is wonderful. Great communication and a clear love for the dogs she boards.

I have a fenced in yard and my dog Moose to keep your dog company. I have two XL (great dane size) dog crates that are freely accessible to any dog. I have swing gates that can be installed on stairs to restrain access, or provide opportunity to keep dogs separated if needed.

Information Christine R. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know that your dog is human and dog friendly. Well socialized, and house trained. I would like proof of your dog being current on shots, and registered/licensed with the county. You will be provided proof on my dog. I would like to know if your dog has special needs to make sure I can support your dogs needs during their stay. I would insist on a meet and greet to be certain all parties and dogs feel comfortable prior to any scheduled stay. Despite my openness and pet experience there are breeds I'm not comfortable with despite how friendly your dog may be. These are generally considered aggressive breeds in the media, as well as some breeds normally used for guard and policing duties. Please know, based on experience, I will decline with interacting with some breeds. If you would like to set up a meet and greet, I believe you need to actually schedule a day care request and within your message explain that you would like a meet and greet, and the dialog can start.
A typical day
I enjoy working with dogs and believe they are most happy when they have "work" to do. I'm happy to reinforce training exercises, play scent find games, agility, fetch, and Moose would be happy to run and play with your dog(s). I've a fenced in yard with secured gates and your dog would have access while I'm with them supervising. The neighborhood offers easy access to leashed walks. My home is dog friendly and while your dog can have full home access, stairs have installed gates if needed. My home also has a giant breed crate that can be freely accessed by your dog. Moose freely uses his crate as he sees fit.
