Future Veterinarian and Pet Lover!

Pet care experience

The first dog I ever met belonged to my grandmother—a beautiful 12 year old German Shepherd named Roxie. Due to her age, Roxie required a lot of extra attention and care, and I learned early on how to work with geriatric dogs, which definitely helped me later in life. I went on to choose a career in veterinary medicine and all throughout my college career I have surrounded myself with animals, whether it be volunteering as a dog and cat socializer at the ASPCA, working as a veterinary assistant at three different animal hospitals, gaining valuable experience as a government relations intern in Washington D.C. for the ASPCA, working as a lab technician for my university, and finally, working as a zoo keeper at the Prospect Park Zoo. You would be amazed to learn the similarities in training techniques across species! That part of my career proved to be incredibly valuable and I can’t wait to apply what I’ve learned to caring for your pup as well! Dog owners should book with me because of my extensive experience caring for all types of sizes, temperaments, breeds AND species! As a person, I am honest, passionate about pet-care, and extremely hard-working. Building client relationships based on these three traits is key to a successful pet-sitting business, and I find that my clients book with me repeatedley because I take my job very seriously and exceed their expectations. I keep in constant contact with photo, video and text updates throughout the day, and provide my canine clients with the individualized attention that they deserve to ensure they are having the best experience possible with me. I live an active lifestyle and love taking dogs to the park or on very long jogs. I also cook up a mean homemade sweet potato treat that my pups love as reward for keeping up with me! I also have tons of toys for the pups to play with, blankets for them to snuggle up under and music for them to listen to. I never force a dog to become friends with me and instead, present them with everything I have, and let them come to me in their own time, when they feel comfortable. Did I mention my schedule is wide open and free, and pet-sitting is now my number one priority? It is ready to shape to your needs so send me a message!

Cannot thank Christine enough for taking such good care of Jinx - a fourteen year old kitty who needs a daily inhaler. It really gives great peace of mind when traveling to know someone so thoughtful, communicative, and caring is looking after my baby.

Christine was super friendly with great customer service. She was polite, and respectful. She answered messages in a fair time, and followed instructions. She allowed me to bring my pet’s toys and every single item I considered needed. My cat had no stress (other than the drive) and Christine enjoyed the time with her. I did not see the place where she stayed, but by seeing my cat’s behavior, I can only assume she was fine. Plus sitter told me she would allow her to sleep with her. In addition, a pet sitter is better than having your pet in a cage for hours. I recommend her.

Christine was amazing with Prince! Her love for dogs is obvious and she's also one of the nicest people ever. She definitely goes above and beyond, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Thanks again for everything :)

A typical day

My pet-friendly home is well-suited for dogs because it has a very cozy and relaxed vibe, has enough space for dogs to run around inside, and outside there is a huge park and nature trail only three blocks away. Our time together will be an individualized mix of outside exploring, inside snuggling and everything else your pup likes to do!
