Pet care experience
I enjoy taking walks outside and playing with dogs! I'm happy to play tug-of-war or throw a ball (I still need to work on the frisbee throwing)! If your dog likes to relax and/or snuggle, I am ready to do that too. I also like playing and/or relaxing with cats. I fostered dogs for a rescue organization in Columbia for three years and walked adult dogs for the Greenville Humane Society. I also have dog and house sat for friends in the past. I had a dog for 10 years and enjoyed every moment with her before her passing. I currently have two cats and a dog, all of whom are rescues. I enjoy playing and snuggling with them, when they allow me too. My dog continues trying to best me in a long game of tug-of-war...she doesn’t like to let go! While I am taking care of pets, I will pick up their business or clean the litter box.

Christine was so good to my sweet pup! I had board my dog for years, and I always dreaded it because she would come home sick. Her anxiety would get the best her. Christine was wonderful. I felt at ease knowing she was with my dog while I was away. She sent me pictures and check-ins, which I loved. My dog was so happy when I got home. I will definitely be contacting her again when I need a dog sitter! Highly recommend!
Christine did an amazing job and our pups enjoyed being able to stay home vs boarding elsewhere. Our kitty (who was not part of the sit as he is self sufficient for a weekend) even made appearances and he ALWAYS hides from new people. We will definitely be using her services again!!!

I will follow your pets' schedule as closely as possible. I keep to morning, evening, and nighttime routines during the school year while working my full time job. During summer time, when school is not in session, I am able to follow the afternoon schedule.

I'd like to know the following about your dog: What is your dog's temperament? Does s/he get along with other dogs? Is s/he a runner (do they bolt if they see something such as a squirrel/cat or another dog)? What does your dog do when s/he sees a squirrel/bird/etc.? Is your dog shy around strangers? Is your dog leash trained? Are there any health or physical concerns (i.e. allergies or sore hips)
A typical day
I enjoy keeping pets active. If they enjoy walks, I do my best to get at least two walks in a day around your neighborhood, or follow whatever your pet's schedule is. If you have a fenced in yard, I am happy to play with them or just relax outside, weather permitting. If your dog is one that likes to sleep, then I will be happy to sit on the couch with them and relax.

Availability
I'm a teacher and have weekend availability along with summer days availability for multiple drop-ins a day or dog walking. During the school year, I'm still available to house sit, but am only available in the afternoons and evenings during the week to walk dogs and maintain my weekend availability.
